Overview We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Toddler Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating engaging, safe, and developmentally appropriate experiences for toddlers. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for each child's early learning journey. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of toddlers. Supervise children closely to ensure safety and proper behavior management during play, meals, naps, and learning activities. Support classroom organization by preparing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining a clean environment. Communicate effectively with parents about their child's daily experiences and developmental progress. Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws. Encourage positive behavior through gentle guidance and reinforcement techniques aligned with classroom management strategies. Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to enhance early childhood education skills. Requirements Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education principles. Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills for parent interaction and teamwork. Ability to supervise children effectively while maintaining a lively and positive classroom atmosphere.
