Job Summary We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Part Time Teacher's Assistant to support our teaching staff in delivering high-quality early childhood education. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with children, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a proactive approach to classroom support. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of young learners while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans aligned with educational standards applicable State regulations. Support classroom management by supervising children, ensuring their safety, and promoting positive behavior through effective behavior management techniques. Engage children in educational activities that foster literacy, math skills, social-emotional development, and overall childhood growth. Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards, including first aid and CPR protocols. Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, behaviors, and any concerns to foster strong home-school connections. Skills Experience working with young children in classroom or childcare settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices such as Montessori or other pedagogies. Strong classroom behavior management skills and ability to implement effective discipline strategies. Familiarity with educational compliance standards and regulations governing childcare centers. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively. Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in proofreading lesson materials or documentation.
