Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Para/VOCO Facilitator supporting virtual student services near New Orleans, LA. This full-time role begins August 3, 2026, and continues through May 27, 2027, offering you the chance to impact students in a dynamic school setting. As the facilitator for virtual school psychologists or speech-language pathologists, you'll play an essential part in ensuring students receive vital supportwhether working directly with children or collaborating with educational professionals.
Qualifications and Experience:
Associates degree, ParaPro assessment score of at least 450, or a minimum of 48 completed semester credit hours Experience in a special education classroom is required Ability to pass drug screen and fingerprinting per district protocol Strong communication and organizational skills Adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and staff Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating virtual platforms
Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-person facilitation for virtual school psychologist or SLP sessions Support students in accessing and participating in virtual assessments or therapy Communicate effectively with educators, students, and caregivers Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all assigned students Collaborate with the virtual support team to relay observations and help implement student plans Maintain detailed documentation and follow all district procedures This is a full-time contract, working 35 hours per week (7-hour days with a 30-minute unpaid lunch).
