Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a school setting is highly valued Comfort and familiarity working with students with behavioral needs Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills Ability to adapt to classroom routines and follow teacher direction Reliable attendance and punctuality for a consistent schedule

Key Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated, individualized support to an elementary student throughout the school day Assist with daily classroom activities, helping reinforce instruction as directed by the lead teacher Implement strategies and accommodations tailored to the students behavioral and learning goals Monitor student progress and communicate feedback to staff as needed Support the student in building positive social skills and maintaining a safe, respectful learning environment Maintain professional, respectful interactions with students, staff, and families

Position Highlights:
