Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and social skills activities. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a calm, organized learning environment. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive development, creativity, and social interaction. Help with classroom setup, materials preparation, and cleanup to ensure a smooth flow of daily routines. Provide individualized support for children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or other developmental challenges. Foster effective communication with children, parents, and team members to ensure a cohesive educational experience. Assist in documenting student progress and behavior for ongoing assessment and reporting purposes. Skills Experience working with young children in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for preschool teaching. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to support positive behavior strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for preschool learners. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, specialists, and families to support student success. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Technical proficiency in using educational tools or software relevant to early childhood classrooms. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs such as autism is highly valued. Demonstrated ability to handle behavior management challenges compassionately and effectively.
