9683254-70301 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a dedicated paraprofessional in a dynamic elementary setting. This onsite role focuses on making a meaningful difference by providing 1:1 support to an elementary student, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week (8:00 AM - 3:30 PM). The position is available immediately and continues through late May 2027.

Key Qualifications:

Previous experience in a school environment preferred Background in working with children, especially those with behavioral needs, is an advantage Patience, empathy, and commitment to helping children succeed Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and teachers Reliable and punctual with a professional approach to daily responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver direct, individualized guidance and support to an elementary student throughout the school day Foster an inclusive, engaging, and positive learning environment Partner with classroom teachers and other educational staff to implement accommodations and individualized strategies Support the student's participation in both academic and social activities Assist with behavior management and reinforce positive behaviors Help facilitate instructional activities and transitions during the day Why consider this opportunity?
