Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a positive impact each day by supporting young learners in an engaging elementary life skills classroom. This full-time, contract position offers the chance to work closely with teachers and students to foster a safe, caring, and vibrant environment. Required Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience in a school or classroom setting, preferably as a paraprofessional Familiarity with life skills or special education classrooms is a plus Safety care or behavioral support training preferred Ability to collaborate with educators and related service providers Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, patient, and adaptable in a dynamic learning environment
Role Responsibilities:
Assist students with daily living and academic activities in a life skills classroom Implement and support individualized education and behavior plans in partnership with teachers Promote a safe, respectful learning environment by modeling positive behaviors Provide one-on-one or small group support, including personal care as needed Monitor student progress and communicate observations to classroom staff Foster meaningful relationships that encourage student independence and growth Support classroom organization, materials preparation, and supervision during activities Enjoy a fulfilling role that offers professional experience and the chance to truly make a difference.
