Job Description

Position & Compensation:
The starting rate of pay will be $23.00 per hour. The regular work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM-4:45 PM, with a one-hour unpaid break each day.
Full-Time Benefits:
As a full-time employee, you will be eligible for the following paid leave each academic year: 40 hours of paid sick time and 40 hours of paid time off (PTO)
Job Responsibilities:
As a Teacher's Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support both the Toddler Room Teacher and Preschool Room Teachers throughout the school day. Responsibilities will include assisting with classroom routines, transitions, supervision, activities, outdoor play, meals and snacks, and classroom organization, as well as providing nurturing and attentive care to our students. You will be expected to work collaboratively with the teaching team to maintain a safe, positive, engaging, and respectful environment that reflects the philosophy and values of Our World United Preschool. Conditions of Employment are contingent upon: Successful completion of the 12-hour EEC StrongStart Online Professional Development Training Completion and approval of all required EEC background record checks Completion of any additional employment documentation required by Our World United Preschool and the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care Completion of First aid and CPR certification
