Job Description

IDIIL Learning Foundation , established in 1997, is a non-profit organization dedicated to provide high quality educational services based on IDIIL pedagogy. Over the past 20+ years, we have helped thousands of students achieve academic excellence and most importantly, gain confidence and independent thinking and learning skills. IDIIL Learning Centers are seeking undergraduate students, graduate students, recent graduates, and individuals interested in working with children (grades K-7) to join our after-school programs in:

Flexible, Weekdays, approximately 2:00 PM-6:00 PM Our instructors and assistant instructors play an important role in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for students.
Daily responsibilities include:
Guiding students through their school homework and assignments Supporting students with IDIIL's individualized academic work Leading and participating in outdoor recreational activities Preparing and organizing classroom activities Supervise children during after-school hours and maintaining a positive, safe, and organized classroom environment Helping students stay engaged, focused, and on task Building positive relationships with students and encouraging their academic and personal growth Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities Follow all first aid protocols and be prepared to respond swiftly in case of emergencies Qualifications & Experience Previous experience working with children in education, childcare, camps, youth programs, or similar settings is preferred Ability to supervise children effectively and safely , manage a classroom, and remain calm in a fast-paced, changing environment Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with students, families, and colleagues Ability to participate in outdoor activities for 30-45 minutes per day Experience working with children with diverse learning needs or special education backgrounds is a plus Must successfully complete required criminal background checks, including fingerprinting Must complete all required EEC Essentials trainings CPR and first aid certification is not required prior to employment ; comprehensive training is provided during onboarding and fully sponsored by IDIIL This is a great opportunity for education majors, college students, recent graduates, and anyone looking for rewarding part-time work with children . Pay:
$15.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 24.0 per week
