PLAY Early Learning Center is hiring! We are looking for a warm, dependable, and enthusiastic Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our growing team. At PLAY, we believe young children learn best through hands-on experiences, meaningful relationships, and lots of opportunities to explore. Our classrooms are warm, welcoming, and intentionally designed to support children's development through play, sensory experiences, art, music, movement, and everyday learning. We are open to both full-time and part-time teachers and are looking for the right person to join our Infant or Toddler classroom. We are also happy to train the right candidate who is new to the field and looking to begin a career in early childhood education. Flexibility is important, as classroom schedules and staffing needs can vary. Position Details $17-$23/hour , based on education, EEC certification, and prior experience Full-time or part-time opportunities Sample part-time schedules: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-12:30 PM or 8:00 AM-2:00 PM Work with infants and toddlers in a hands-on, relationship-based environment Training and support available for new early childhood educators What You'll Do As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will build strong relationships with the children in your classroom while providing responsive care and engaging learning experiences. You will participate in daily routines such as feeding, diapering, naps, and transitions, while creating opportunities for children to explore, play, and develop new skills. You will work closely with your classroom team to maintain a safe and inviting environment, communicate with families, observe children's development, and support each child's individual needs. We are looking for someone who is comfortable being hands-on, active, and fully engaged with children throughout the day. What We're Looking For At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED Experience working with infants and/or toddlers is a plus, but not required for the right candidate Early childhood education or child development coursework preferred Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler certification preferred Ability to meet Massachusetts EEC employment and background check requirements Warm, patient, nurturing, and responsive with young children Reliable, responsible, and dependable Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn, grow, and support the entire PLAY team Flexibility is important Whether you are an experienced early childhood educator or are just beginning your career, we'd love to hear from you!
