Support Team Collaboration & Counseling Coordination

Work closely with school counselors, school adjustment counselors, and intervention specialists within the Bridge Program to align academic support with student needs.

Participate in regular team check-ins regarding student progress, behavioral trends, and readiness for increased classroom integration.

Communicate proactively with general education and vocational teachers to gather current assignments, syllabi, tests, and homework expectations for students in the Bridge Program.

Clarify instructional expectations from teachers to ensure students understand assignment requirements.

Provide routine updates to classroom teachers on student progress, completed work, and readiness to return to standard instruction.

Room Environment & Student Success Culture

Maintain a calm, structured, trauma-informed, and academically focused room environment.

Foster an attitude of encouragement and growth mindset, ensuring students feel supported rather than penalized during their time in the program.
