CDC of Assonet is looking for a reliable, caring, and enthusiastic Floating Teacher Assistant to join our early childhood education team. If you have a passion for working with children and enjoy supporting classrooms where needed, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. Float between classrooms to provide support as needed. Help with daily classroom activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor play. Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
Qualifications:
Must be reliable, dependable, and punctual. Must be caring, patient, loving, and enjoy working with young children. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Must be able to pass a CORI background check and fingerprint screening . EEC Teacher Assistant certification is a plus , but not required . We welcome individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the field of early childhood education.
