Major responsibilities include Assisting the Lead teacher in implementing a Montessori curriculum aligned with Massachusetts state standards; Helping to implement a student-centered education in a prepared Montessori environment; Supporting a structured learning environment with high expectations for all students; Serving collaboratively on grade-level and diverse teacher teams to improve the professional practices of the school A successful candidate should possess : An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in education or a related field is required Experience working with children in a school setting Effective communication skills, both written and spoken; Willingness to engage in frequent dialogue and to be self-reflective with regard to teaching practices; Ability to work with a variety of learning abilities and differentiate instruction as needed Strong classroom management skills Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; Collaborative team player; Strong work ethic, reliable transportation, and excellent attendance
Pay:
$40,800.00 - $46,800.00 per year
