Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate (0.8) Preschool Paraprofessional to join our educational team. This role is essential in supporting teachers and enhancing the learning experience for students, particularly in early childhood settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment. No previous experience necessary. Duties Assist teachers in educational activities tailored to individual student needs. Support behavior management strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment. Engage with students during classroom activities, providing guidance and encouragement. Supervise students during playtime, ensuring safety and promoting social skills through interaction. Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met throughout the day. Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and adapt instructional methods as needed. Requirements A background in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred. Ability to create a nurturing environment that encourages student engagement and learning. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff. A genuine passion for childcare and education, with the ability to connect with young learners. Flexibility to adapt to various classroom settings and student needs.
