CDC Teacher's Assistant (part-time)

Pay Range:

$16.00-$17.75/hour

RFK Community Alliance has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Teacher's Assistant to join our Child Development Center team in Lancaster, MA.

Who We Seek

We are seeking a part-time Teacher's Assistant to work in our Child Development Center, providing an enriched and engaging environment for young children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old.

We are looking for someone who will encourage children's imagination, challenge their thinking skills, and enhance their social and language development. The Teacher's Assistant will work alongside the Lead Teacher to provide daily care, education, and recreation for children, as well as support the daily operations of the classroom.

Responsibilities

Assist and actively support the teachers in the program

Supervise the daily routines of children in the classroom and during activities

Develop a team atmosphere with the classroom teacher and other Teacher's Assistants

Requirements

High School diploma required

Associate's degree preferred

Must be 18 years old

Shifts/Hours

22.5 hours per week

7:30 AM-5:30 PM
