Job Description

Reading Instructional Assistant (18.5 hours/week)The Reading Instructional Assistant works with students to improve their reading skills and proficiency. Working under the supervision of the Literacy Coaches and building principal, the Reading Instructional Assistant will: Provide engaging Tier 2 reading interventions to small groups of studentsAdminister benchmark and progress monitoring assessments in collaboration with classroom teachersRespond to available data to inform instruction Maintain student confidentiality Develop a positive and successful instructional climate that celebrates students differences and allows for respectful engagement
