Key Qualifications:

Valid Para credentials/certification required Previous experience as a paraprofessional, with a focus on middle school-aged students, preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student objectives Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere

Responsibilities:

Support the instructional and behavioral needs of students in a middle school setting Work closely with lead teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and classroom modifications Assist with daily classroom activities, reinforcing lessons and providing one-on-one or small group guidance Monitor student progress, encourage social development, and ensure an organized, nurturing environment Communicate regularly with teaching staff and contribute to the broader school mission This contract runs from your ASAP start date through June 22, 2027.
