To Be Determined Job Description Dennett Elementary School, in Plympton, MA anticipates the need for a part time paraprofessional whose primary role is working with students with learning disabilities within the classroom setting. The assignment of this role is dependent on the needs of students in the building and will report to the building principal. Responsibilities include: supporting students in general education classes providing accommodations to students on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans collaborating with regular education and Special Education teachers and other duties to be assigned by building administration.
An ideal candidate:
should be able to communicate well verbally and in writing. will collaborate with other staff members. would be willing and take professional development offered by the district. Hours are 8:30-12:30 Monday to Friday. This is a part time, benefits eligible position through the Town of Plympton and the Plympton Paraprofessional contract. Salary is between $18.48 - $24.27 per hour depending on experience.
