Aug 24, 2026 Job Description 1. Under the direction of the classroom teacher, provide individual tutorial instruction and behavioral support to assigned student(s). 2. Assist in preparing individual lessons, materials, and equipment to implement academic program. 3. Provide input in the development of student goals and objectives. 4. Provide information relative to student's progress for quarterly and annual reviews. 5. Knowledge of assigned student's behavior plan and supervise student behavior. 6. Knowledge and participate in free time/recess and special activities and procedures. 7. Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter and implement all necessary components in assigned student's programming needs. 8. Ability to explain concepts to others effectively. 9. Supervision of students during transportation needs, including daily bus duty. 10. Understand and implement safety procedures of the program and student assigned. 11. Participate in training and development sessions as assigned. 12. Exhibit patience and positive attitude in establishing an encouraging learning environment. 13. May be assigned to varying sites or students as needed. 14.. Other tasks as related to this position as assigned by the Teacher/Program Director/Assistant Director.
