Job Description

• To complete instructional tasks under the general supervision of a teacher and
  non-instructional tasks under the general supervision of the Principal.
  
• Works directly with students to provide direct support instruction.
  
• Implements the IEP under the direction of the teacher and/or specialist.
  
• Communicates to the teacher and the Principal on the work that has been completed.
  
• Ensures the physical well being of children assigned.
  
• Work environment is classroom setting, staff work room, and school office.
  
• Reads to students, corrects student work assignments, makes materials for use in classroom.
  
• Maintains records as required, completes inventory as directed, answers phones and provides information requested.
