Job Description

Happy Munchkins Learning Center is looking for caring, dependable, and energetic individuals to join our Infant and Toddler classrooms. We are currently hiring for both Teacher and Assistant Teacher positions. The ideal candidates will enjoy working with young children, communicate well with families and coworkers, and help create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities Provide attentive and nurturing care to infants and toddlers Assist with daily classroom routines, including feeding, diapering, naps, and outdoor activities Plan or support age-appropriate learning activities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom Follow all health, safety, and supervision procedures Communicate professionally with families and team members Record children's daily activities and care information Work cooperatively with the lead teacher and other staff Maintain required teacher-to-child ratios at all times Qualifications Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required for Assistant Teacher candidates Infant and toddler classroom experience is strongly preferred for Teacher candidates EEC certification is preferred for Teacher positions CPR and First Aid certification is preferred Must be patient, responsible, dependable, and comfortable working as part of a team Must be able to complete all required background checks and childcare training Must be able to meet the physical demands of caring for infants and toddlers QualificationsLead Teachers Massachusetts EEC Teacher Certification for the age group applying for (Infant/Toddler or Preschool). Previous classroom experience preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Passion for working with young children. Assistant Teachers Massachusetts EEC Teacher or Assistant Teacher Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification. Experience working with children is a plus but not required.
