Job Description
Walpole Public Schools is seeking a long term substitute (LTS) teacher aide (recess) to work Monday through Friday, 3.75 hours per day, 18.75 hours per week at Boyden Elementary School effective immediately for the 2026-2027 school year.
Teacher Aide Role:
The Teacher Aide supervises students during lunch and recess periods. The teacher aide also provides clerical support to teachers and administration.
Duties:
- Work under the direction of the principal as well as classroom teachers.
- Supervise students on the playground and in classrooms during indoor recess.
- Supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch periods.
Provide support to ensure student safety and emotional regulation. Provide clerical support for staff using duplicating, cutting, laminating, and binding equipment. Maintain an orderly and clean workstation. Assist with student transitions in the classroom and around the building.
Minimum starting salary $16.83 per hour.
