9640596-01604 Job Description Make a meaningful impact working with students in diverse K-12 classrooms in a dynamic educational setting near Worcester, MA. This contract paraprofessional opportunity enables you to provide dedicated support, guidance, and encouragement to students who benefit from behavioral interventions. You'll have the chance to collaborate closely with teaching staff, making a difference every day while developing valuable skills and experiences. Start as soon as possible and continue through June 2027, working 32.5 hours per week across five days alongside passionate professionals. Your expertise within behavioral settings and genuine care for student growth will be highly valued in this rewarding environment. Qualifications and Experience Previous experience in behavioral settings with children, preferably within school environments Valid credentials/certifications required for paraprofessionals (as applicable) Strong communication and teamwork abilities Flexibility and a compassionate approach to supporting K-12 students Responsibilities Provide direct support to students, ensuring their participation and success in classroom activities Assist licensed teachers with lesson implementation and classroom management Engage with students using positive behavioral strategies Foster a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere that encourages growth and self-confidence Document progress, behaviors, and relevant observations Adapt to the evolving needs of students and classroom routines Outstanding Benefits This role offers a pay range of $26 to $32 per hour, paid weekly.
