Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our educational team, committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. In this role, you will support classroom teachers in delivering engaging instruction and ensuring the well-being of students with diverse needs. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will help create a positive atmosphere where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Duties include:
Assist the Lead Teacher with planning and implementing age-appropriate activities. Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being. Encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play and learning experiences. Help prepare and organize classroom materials and learning centers. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Assist with meals, snacks, diapering, toileting, and other daily care routines as needed. Support children during transitions, including arrival, departure, outdoor play, and rest time. Model positive behavior and assist with classroom management using positive guidance techniques. Observe and report children's progress, behaviors, and any concerns to the Lead Teacher or administration. Communicate professionally and courteously with families when appropriate. Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety procedures, and center policies. Sanitize toys, equipment, and classroom surfaces throughout the day. Assist with special events, classroom celebrations, and field trips when applicable. Work collaboratively with classroom staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director.
