Job Description
Overview Pearl's is seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. As an Assistant Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of our students, helping them develop foundational skills that will serve them throughout their academic journey. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain classroom discipline and promote respectful interactions among students. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their child's development. Collaborate with special education staff to support students with diverse learning needs, including those on the autism spectrum. Communicate regularly with parents regarding classroom activities, student progress, and any concerns that may arise. Foster social-emotional development through play-based learning activities and group interactions. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning. Experience A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential. Familiarity with special education strategies and behavior management techniques is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues. Previous experience in private school settings is advantageous but not required.
