This contract opportunity is located near Belfast, ME, and runs from ASAP through June 9, 2027. You'll work full-time, 35 hours per week (MondayFriday, 8:00am3:30pm), within a vibrant Pre-K setting. As an experienced Paraprofessional, you will serve as an Ed Tech III, working 1:1 with a 4-year-old student to deliver Special Education Services, targeted interventions, and support all IEP goals and requirements. Your dedication and specialized training will provide essential encouragement and structure, helping your student thrive both academically and socially. Youll become an integral part of a collaborative educational team and a nurturing school environment.

Required Qualifications:

Current Ed Tech III certification (including completion of an educational technician program and a minimum of 90 relevant college credit hours) Successful completion of a CHRC (Criminal History Record Check) background check Demonstrated experience as a Paraprofessional, particularly in a school or early education environment Familiarity with IEP implementation, special education protocols, and intervention strategies Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Support a 4-year-old student as outlined in their Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Implement special education services and daily intervention strategies Collaborate closely with teachers and specialists to monitor progress and adjust support plans as needed Foster a safe and encouraging classroom atmosphere tailored to each child's needs
