Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle school students as a dedicated American Sign Language (ASL) paraprofessional. This full-time role centers on making a meaningful impact in classrooms, collaborating with education teams, and facilitating accessible learning environments for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and runs through June 4, 2027. Your fluency in ASL and prior experience in a school environment will be essential as you interpret instructions, support individual learning needs, and foster positive student engagement each day.
Key Requirements:
High school diploma (transcripts required for verification); college coursework or degree a plus Demonstrated fluency in American Sign Language Previous hands-on experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting Eagerness to support diverse middle school learners Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Comfortable collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families
Role Responsibilities:
