The assignment begins August 31st, 2026, and follows the school calendar, with per diem hours and days each week—giving you control over your schedule. As part of this assignment, you'll assist students with learning activities, foster a supportive classroom environment, and collaborate with teachers to ensure all students receive the attention they deserve.
What We're Looking For:
At least one year of professional experience working with school-aged children. Two or more years of school-based paraprofessional experience is preferred. Adaptability and the ability to work well with diverse student populations. Dedication to student success and a collaborative mindset. Current background clearances as required by educational institutions.
In This Role, You Will:
Support students individually and in groups during classroom instruction. Implement accommodations and modifications as directed by educators. Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for all learners. Monitor student progress and report observations to teachers or specialists. Follow daily schedules, assist with classroom management, and encourage student engagement.
