Job Description
ECE Subhub is hiring a full-time Assistant Preschool Teacher to support a preschool classroom at Heartfelt Impressions Learning Center in Clarkston. This is a year-round position with consistent weekday hours, and a great opportunity for someone who wants to work with the same group of children over time and build long-term experience in early childhood education. At ECE Subhub, we believe children thrive when they are supported by caring, dependable, and engaged adults. We also believe our staff should feel supported, prepared, and valued in the work they do. Our team provides training, guidance, and ongoing support so you can feel confident in the classroom. As an Assistant Preschool Teacher, you will work alongside the Lead Teacher to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment for preschoolers. Responsibilities may include supporting daily routines and transitions, helping implement lesson plans and classroom activities, assisting with child observations and documentation, supervising children to keep them safe, building positive relationships with children and families, and maintaining a warm and professional classroom presence. This position is a good fit for someone who wants steady, full-time weekday work in one classroom, whether you are early in your early childhood career or returning to the field. Qualifications We are looking for candidates who meet one of the following: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development Current, active CDA credential CPR Adult and Pediatric Certification is preferred.
