• Clarkston is seeking a positive and dependable Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with children and wants to build or continue a career in childcare. You'll work alongside Lead Teachers to create safe, engaging classrooms where children learn through play and positive relationships. What You'll Do Support Lead Teachers with classroom routines and learning activities Engage children through play, art, music, sensory activities, and hands-on learning Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions Provide attentive supervision and positive guidance Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom Build positive relationships with children and families Collaborate with teachers and center leadership Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous daycare, preschool, or childcare experience preferred CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus Dependable, patient, energetic, and team-oriented Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements What We Offer $16
