Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing engaging curriculum activities tailored to toddler development stages Supervise and ensure the safety of children during indoor and outdoor activities, maintaining vigilant child supervision at all times Support children with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, napping, and hygiene practices following health and safety standards Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and social skills among children Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences to build trust and partnership Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes learning and safety in compliance with licensing regulations Support classroom management by assisting with lesson planning, activity setup, and materials preparation Experience Prior experience working with young children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a valuable asset Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in first aid is encouraged Familiarity with mandated reporting laws ensures compliance with legal requirements for child protection Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a nurturing environment Previous caregiving roles such as babysitting or nannying that involved child supervision and developmental support are beneficial This role is ideal for passionate individuals committed to making a positive impact on young children's lives.
