Approximately 7:15 AM-3:15 PM or 8:15 AM-4:15 PM, depending on school assignment Sunbelt Staffing is seeking compassionate and adaptable Paraprofessionals to support students across multiple grade levels within a school district near Flint, MI. These positions offer the opportunity to work in a variety of educational settings, supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, and cognitive needs. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 student support and classroom assistance Work with students in resource, self-contained, cognitively impaired, emotionally impaired, and general education settings Support students with mild, moderate, and severe disabilities Assist with academic, behavioral, social, and functional skill development Provide personal care support, including toileting and diapering when required Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment Qualifications Candidates must meet one of the following requirements: At least 60 semester hours of college credit (official transcripts required) Associate degree or higher ETS Parapro Assessment score of 460 or higher SAT score of at least 480 in Evidence-Based Reading & Writing and 530 in Math Additional Requirements Experience working with children preferred Ability to support students with a wide range of learning and behavioral needs Flexibility regarding caseload and assignment type Strong communication and teamwork skills Position Details Full-time position for the entire 2026-2027 school year Assignments may include 1:1 support or classroom-based support Opportunities to work across all grade levels Virtual interviews available District may consider candidate preferences, but flexibility is required Sunbelt Benefits Competitive weekly pay Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Dedicated recruiter support throughout your assignment Professional development resources If you're passionate about supporting students and making a meaningful impact in the classroom, apply today for consideration
