We serve families by integrating biblical values into daily learning experiences and fostering developmental growth in all areas — spiritual, emotional, physical, cognitive, and social.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Infant Teacher Assistant to support the lead teacher in caring for and nurturing infants (7 weeks - 18 months). The ideal candidate will have a heart for young children, a servant's spirit, and a desire to share God's love daily. Hours would be from 3:00-6:00pm with the ability to pick up shifts as needed.
Responsibilities:
Assist lead teacher in planning and implementing daily activities that support infant development. Provide attentive, loving care including feeding, diapering, and comforting infants. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment. Communicate effectively and respectfully with parents, co-workers, and supervisors. Support the spiritual mission of the daycare by modeling Christian values and participating in prayer and Bible-related activities as appropriate. Follow all licensing and safety regulations and center policies.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting preferred. CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain upon hire). Must pass background check and meet state childcare licensing requirements. Strong work ethic, patience, and a loving attitude toward children.
