Duties Supervise children before and after school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, creativity, and physical activity Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques Assist with homework support, tutoring, or educational games to reinforce learning concepts Maintain a clean and organized environment, including activity areas and outdoor spaces Follow all first aid protocols and emergency procedures; operate AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) as needed Collaborate with team members to plan special events, outdoor excursions, or youth group activities that enhance the program experience Experience Prior experience working with children in educational settings, childcare centers, camps, or youth programs is highly desirable Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and AED operation is required; ongoing training preferred Experience facilitating outdoor activities or sports coaching enhances your ability to engage children actively Background in special education or working with children with diverse needs is a plus Demonstrated ability to lead team efforts in youth development programs or recreational activities Strong communication skills for working effectively with children, parents, and team members This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about fostering a safe and enriching environment for children.
