What You'll Bring:

Experience working as a paraprofessional, ideally within a school or special education setting Familiarity with supporting high-needs students, including those with developmental or behavioral challenges Ability to provide individualized care, maintain confidentiality, and exercise patience and empathy Strong communication skills for daily collaboration with other educators and team members Reliability and punctuality to uphold the daily schedule, including bus transportation support

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to a high-needs student throughout the school day (8:00 am - 3:30 pm), ensuring safety and engagement Ride the school bus with the student to and from the educational site, supervising and assisting as needed Collaborate with special education staff to implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals and adapt activities appropriately Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment that promotes independence and confidence Assist with classroom tasks, daily living skills, and behavioral management strategies This contract position offers a rewarding way to use your dedication and skills to make a tangible impact in a student's life.
