Overview Join our dynamic team as an Office Bookkeeper and become a vital part of our financial operations! In this role, you will manage essential accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance across various financial systems. Your expertise will support the organization's financial health by maintaining meticulous records, reconciling accounts, and processing transactions efficiently. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including data entry, journal entries, and transaction recording using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, and other financial systems. Reconcile bank statements and perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, adhering to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards. Handle payroll processing accurately and efficiently in compliance with relevant regulations. Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions, including debits & credits, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Support budgeting activities and assist with financial analysis to aid organizational decision-making. Requirements Proven bookkeeping experience with strong knowledge of accounting principles such as double entry bookkeeping and technical accounting concepts. Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks (especially QuickBooks Online), Xero, Sage, and other financial management tools. Experience with corporate or non-profit accounting environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with GAAP standards, bank reconciliation processes, and general ledger management. Ability to work with spreadsheets for data analysis and report writing effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills; capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and record keeping. Pay:
From $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
