Our paraprofessionals work closely with teachers and support staff to provide students with the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support they need throughout the school day. Position Full-Time Paraprofessional Primary Responsibilities Assist classroom teachers with daily instruction and classroom activities. Provide individual and small-group academic support to students. Reinforce skills and concepts taught by the classroom teacher. Support students who may need additional academic, behavioral, or social-emotional assistance. Help maintain a safe, structured, positive, and productive learning environment. Assist with classroom routines, transitions, arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, and other assigned duties. Encourage positive student behavior and reinforce schoolwide expectations. Build respectful and supportive relationships with students. Collaborate with teachers, intervention staff, special education staff, behavior specialists, and administration. Maintain student confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional college coursework or applicable credentials preferred. Enjoys working with children and demonstrates patience, compassion, and consistency. Dependable and committed to regular and punctual attendance. Able to follow teacher and administrative direction. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Willing to work with students with a variety of academic, behavioral, and developmental needs. Flexible, professional, positive, and committed to teamwork.
