The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for students. This role involves working closely with children to foster their academic and social development. The Assistant Teacher / Lead Teacher will assist in lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management, ensuring that each student receives the attention they need to thrive. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Support students in their learning by providing individualized attention and encouragement. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning atmosphere. Collaborate with teachers to develop strategies for working with students with disabilities or autism. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Skills Strong behavior management skills to maintain a productive classroom environment. Background in private school or childcare settings is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with students, parents, and colleagues. Proven experience working with students of various ages and backgrounds. Ability to plan engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
