Job Description

General SummaryThe City of Mt. Pleasant is accepting applications for a PEAK Program Assistant. This position works under the direction of PEAK Site and Program Coordinators to help plan, organize, implement, and evaluate academic, enrichment, and recreation activities for students in the PEAK after school program. Program Assistants provide direct supervision to ensure a safe and positive environment, assist in connecting school curriculum with after-school activities, and support program operations such as equipment management, reporting, and promotions. Hourly Wage$14.28-17.28/hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Minimum Requirements Must meet State of Michigan licensing requirements and complete all pre-employment screenings. Experience working with children and/or coursework in recreation, education, or human services preferred. Additional InformationCity of Mt.
