Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting children in daily classroom routines and learning activities Building warm, nurturing relationships with children Helping maintain a clean, organized, and beautiful Montessori classroom Ensuring children's safety through active supervision Assisting with transitions, meals, playground time, and rest periods Collaborating with teachers and administrators to provide exceptional care Helping with school events and special activities Communicating classroom needs or concerns to the Lead Teacher Participating in staff meetings and required professional development We're Looking For Someone Who Loves working with young children Is dependable, positive, and a team player Arrives on time and is ready to jump in wherever needed Creates a calm, respectful, and welcoming environment Is eager to learn and grow professionally Believes every child deserves patience, kindness, and encouragement Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting Must meet Michigan child care licensing requirements Experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 6 years is preferred but not required Montessori experience is a plus—we're happy to train the right candidate CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain through employer-provided training)
