This position works with children ages 3-4 years old in a developmentally appropriate, play-based classroom. We are looking for a teacher who is creative, patient, organized, and passionate about helping preschoolers grow socially, emotionally, physically, and academically. The ideal candidate understands that preschool children learn through hands-on experiences, meaningful interactions, routines, imagination, and play.
Responsibilities include:
Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities Support children in building social skills, independence, language, problem-solving, and school readiness skills Use positive behavior guidance and respectful communication Maintain supervision and follow all licensing and center policies Communicate with families through our daily reporting app Prepare classroom materials and participate in daily routines Work collaboratively with other teachers and leadership Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
Qualifications:
Experience working with preschool-age children preferred Must be dependable, nurturing, professional, and team-oriented Must be willing to complete required childcare trainings Must be able to pass required background checks CPR and First Aid preferred, or willingness to obtain Early childhood coursework, CDA, or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred, but not required
Schedule:
