Job Overview Assistant Montessori Teacher - GSRP Classroom Bloomfield Maples Montessori is seeking a caring, dedicated Assistant Montessori Teacher to join our mixed‑age classroom that includes 12 GSRP‑funded spots . We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education, committed to Montessori principles, and meets GSRP qualification requirements .

Responsibilities include:

Supporting the Lead Teacher in a mixed‑age Montessori/GSRP classroom Assisting with individualized lessons, small‑group work, and daily routines Maintaining a warm, respectful, child‑centered environment Supporting GSRP documentation, compliance, and family communication Collaborating with staff to uphold Montessori values and state program standards

Qualifications:

Meets GSRP Associate Teacher requirements (Child Development Associate or equivalent credential or Associate Degree in Early Childhood) Experience in early childhood or Montessori environments preferred Strong communication skills and a nurturing, team‑oriented approach If you are passionate about supporting young learners in a Montessori setting and excited to be part of a GSRP classroom, we would love to hear from you.
