Skills & Qualifications:

Experience as a paraprofessional, preferably in an educational setting. A minimum of 60 college credits is desired; if not, willingness to obtain a paraprofessional certificate is required. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff to assist students in achieving their goals. Adaptability and patience when working with diverse learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Support classroom teachers by reinforcing lesson plans, assisting with activities, and providing individualized attention to students. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Assist students with academic tasks as well as promoting social and emotional learning. Manage and supervise students in various settings, maintaining safety and order. Communicate progress and concerns to teachers and staff as needed.
