Job Description

Laurel Academy has a co teacher and an assistant teacher in our Infant classrooms. We are located in Albertville, MN.
Job Hours:
Monday through Friday Shifts range from 6:30AM -5:30PM Additional perks at Laurel Academy include: Lower staff to child ratios (1:3 in Infants, 1:5 in Toddlers, 1:7 in Early Preschool) Leads and Co-teachers receive paid scheduled prep time outside of their classroom to prepare for coming weeks and months Set schedules Monday through Friday Health Compensation package for full time employees after 90 days
Job Descriptions:
Assistant Teacher / Aide The assistant teacher main job is to support and assist the lead teacher and co teachers in the classroom. Their duties include but are not limited to Assist and support Lead Teachers with curriculum, daily schedule, classroom cleanliness, child safety, and child supervision Maintain all logs, such as accident/incident, separation, illness, biting, etc. Ensure that licensing standards are being maintained in their classroom at all times, and notify management of any licensing violations they find in the center Qualified candidates please submit a resume.
Qualifications:
Meet the Department of Human Services' Rule 3 qualification standards of lead teacher, assistant teacher, and aide Each staff member must have or willing to complete first aid and CPR training for infants and children. Each staff member in our facility must fill out an application and submit to a background check and fingerprinting before the employee will be allowed to have contact with children.
