Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting middle school students as a paraprofessional in a dynamic, contract-based setting. With multiple openings available, you'll have the opportunity to select a school site that best matches your interests and logistical preferences. Your commitment will run from late August to late November in a 32.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, before the potential to convert to a direct hire position.
Desired Qualifications:
Must be deemed "highly qualified" by one of the following: Successful completion of the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam or MN Para Educator Exam At least 60 college credits (must provide official transcripts; diplomas or degree images are not accepted) Experience or genuine interest in working with middle school students in an educational setting Flexibility and willingness to support toileting and personal care needs as required by students Reliable transportation and willingness to select and map out your preferred school site from available options
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver assistance to lead teachers and students in classroom and small group settings Provide academic, behavioral, and general support in accordance with individualized plans Participate in daily classroom activities and help manage materials and documentation Assist with toileting or personal care for students when indicated Effectively collaborate and communicate with staff, students, and families
