About us Learning Explorers Childcare is a small business in Anoka, MN. We are supportive, engaging, and fun! Our goal is to provide a place where parents can leave with the confidence that their child/ren are in a safe and caring environment. Our job is to focus on each child's social, physical and emotional development. A child's self-esteem, independence, and ability to learn need to be taught through positive experiences in and out of the classroom. Part of our job is to help parents prepare their child for their upcoming years. If staff and parents can work together, this can be obtained. It is Learning Explores philosophy that children mature to reach their growth potential when they are provided with a stimulating, inviting and loving environment. Each child will be involved in activities that will enrich their social, emotional, and physical growth every day. Learning experiences in art, music, dramatic play, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and readiness for kindergarten will be provided. Good communication between parents and staff is essential.

The ideal candidates will have an eye for detail as well as an aptitude for creativity in their approach to teaching. As part of a close-knit team, our teachers will be responsible for managing classroom behavior, being positive role models for our students and contributing to the ongoing development of the curriculum and activities. We are eager to find teachers who are outgoing and enthusiastic about working with children and interested in contributing to the wider community.
Responsibilities:
Engage students in the material Prepare activities for children Maintain a positive learning environment Teach a curriculum provided by us Classroom Cleaning Welcoming families Opening or Closing the center Floating in between our Infant 1 room & Infant 2 classrooms Our hours of Operation are: 6:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
