Job Description
Step into a meaningful role supporting students as a contract paraprofessional in a dynamic elementary school setting near Anoka, MN. Multiple positions are available in resource programming, Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) centerbase programming, and Ready Set LAUNCH centerbase programming. Start your assignment as soon as possible and make a lasting impact through the end of the academic year, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 32.5 hours per week. This role requires flexibility and dedication, including the willingness to assist with toileting as part of daily support responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Must be highly qualified by ONE of the following: Passing the MN Para Educator Exam (attach proof with application) At least 60 college credits (attach official college transcripts) Strong commitment to providing care and instructional support to students Experience or interest in working with special education populations is a plus Ability to follow IEP accommodations and individualized learning plans Team-oriented attitude and clear communication skillsKey Responsibilities:
Support teachers and students in both academic and behavioral programming Provide one-on-one or small group assistance as assigned Follow protocols for personal hygiene support, including toileting, as needed Collaborate with educational staff to implement lesson plans Help foster a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom environmentBenefits:
