Full Job Description Overview:

University Instructors, LLC is seeking talented people from diverse backgrounds and experiences to lead, change, and inspire students in the Minneapolis area.

Responsibilities:

Successful applicants will be able to: Work under the direction of a teacher/administrator to assist students individually or in groups and help present or reinforce learning concepts. Support students in the behavior/skills room. Assist students who may be in distress, and help foster and reinforce positive social, emotional, and behavioral skills. Help prepare and maintain student records and reports, media inventory, filing and supporting various technology resources. Supervise student areas including hallways, classrooms, playgrounds, pickup/drop off and the lunchroom. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Candidates must meet one of the following: Possess an associate or bachelor's degree. OR Complete at least 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours from a regionally accredited institution of higher education. OR Pass the Parapro exam with a score of 460 or above. (Documentation required). Candidates must demonstrate good communication, interpersonal and recordkeeping skills. Candidates must be able to work with technology and computers. Candidates must be willing to work cooperatively with students and staff. Candidates must be willing to take direction/coaching. Candidates must maintain regular attendance, which includes completing the assigned workday. Candidates must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds. Candidates must be able to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.

Compensation:

Payrate is based on Highest Level of Education Completed. $20-$22 | Monday-Friday | Daytime schedule
