Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting K-12 students in a specialized educational setting as a Paraprofessional for a school-based program. This contract position offers an opportunity to work directly with students in a dynamic environment from September 8, 2026, through December 7, 2026, Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. If you have a passion for helping young learners thrive and meet the highly qualified standards, this role could be an excellent fit.
Qualifications:
Must be highly qualified through one of the following options: Pass the Minnesota Para Educator Exam (MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam) Complete at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required) Experience working as a paraprofessional or in an educational support role is strongly preferred Ability to build rapport with students in a K-12 setting, especially those with diverse learning needs Strong communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
Support individual and small groups of K-12 students within a Setting 4 program, helping them access curriculum and activities Work collaboratively with certified teachers and staff to implement instructional strategies Provide behavioral and academic support in accordance with student needs and program goals Assist with related tasks to foster a positive learning environment
Additional Information:
