9631209-55330 Job Description Step into a pivotal role supporting students with significant behavioral and developmental needs at a specialized Setting 4 site. This contract paraprofessional position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact by providing direct support to students in special education for 100% of their day, ranging in age from elementary through high school. Located in Coon Rapids, MN, youll work closely with a dedicated team, helping each student thrive within a structured environment. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 32.5 hours weekly, giving you a consistent daytime schedule.

Key Qualifications:

Must be Highly Qualified as a Paraprofessional through one of the following: Passing the MN Para Educator Exam (provide official score) At least 60 college credits (attach official transcript) Experience or strong desire to work in a Setting 4 environment with students exhibiting the highest level of behavioral and developmental challenges Willing and able to assist with toileting and other personal care responsibilities Ability to support students at either elementary, middle, or high school levels (please indicate age group preference) Possess a current, comprehensive resume and Highly Qualified Document for submission

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver compassionate, individualized support for students in special education programs Assist with daily living skills, including toileting, feeding, and mobility, as needed Implement behavioral intervention strategies and collaborate closely with instructional staff Foster a positive, safe, and structured environment to maximize student engagement and success Maintain accurate student records and participate in daily team meetings This contract role offers a pay rate of $20 per hour, with the potential for direct hire by the district after 422 hours.
